Register for PTSA Membership ZOOM MEETING on 9/23 at 7 PM

We know you may have more questions now that school has been in session going on two weeks. Next week is a great time to get your questions answered during the PTSA Membership Meeting. This one hour meeting will begin with a short PTSA business meeting, followed by a special presentation by Jacquie Naughton, School Counselor, on SEL (Social Emotional Learning): Understanding The What, The Why, and The How. This will be followed by a wide-ranging Q&A with Dr. Smith and other LBSS leadership. Register soon. Capacity is limited. If you have questions, please send an email to PTSA Communications, PTSA President, or ask our PTSA Facebook Group.  Don’t forget to check our the new LBSS PTSA website.

SCHOOL PHOTOS

Middle School and High School Underclassmen: Will occur on Saturdays and Mondays beginning on September 12.

Senior Portraits: We have over 500 seniors left to photograph. The NEW DATES will be Oct. 13-16 and Oct. 20-21 from 3-8 pm. Signup link will be emailed to seniors as soon as it’s ready.

ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY (ANGP) PLANNING MEETING 9/29 AT 7 PM

This year will be unusual to say the least for the Class of 2021. Come join an expanded All Night Grad Party committee to plan how we can celebrate our seniors throughout the year and potential alternatives to the traditional ANGP. All are welcome! MINI-GRANTS

Now that everyone made it through the first week of the new school year, it’s time to start thinking about PTSA Fall Mini-Grants! For more details including the application click here.

LBSS COMMUNITY PARTNERS PROGRAM

We are excited to launch our LBSS Community Partners Program! If you have a local business who would like to participate, please contact Alice Chu. Here’s the link with more information, including the form to complete to participate. Are you interested in being an ambassador to help spread the word to local businesses? Please let Alice know and she can answer any questions you may have and can let you know which businesses have already been contacted.

REFLECTIONS

The theme for the 2020-2021 program year is I Matter Because…. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
