LBSS PTSA AWARDED $5,000 SAFEWAY NOURISHING NEIGHBORS GRANT.

During the month of August, Safeway Foundation raised more than $386,000 to support school hunger relief efforts in the D.C.-Baltimore region.  Lake Braddock Secondary School was awarded a $5,000 grant. Grant funds may be used to support:

  • School food pantries
  • Emergency meal distribution programs for students
  • Grocery gift cards to help feed food insecure students and their families
